January, 1997
Company Founding
Since our founding in 1997 in Cham, AFT AG has stood for innovation and quality in conveyor technology. What began as Eugen Studer’s vision has grown into a successful family business specializing in customized small conveyors.
Eugen Studer dreamed of enabling precise and seamless transport of the smallest particles. This vision evolved into an idea, first taking shape in his mind, then captured on paper, and ultimately brought to life in the form of our small conveyors.
November, 2010
Development FES AA
The new FES AA conveyor impresses customers with its precision under adverse conditions, making it ideal for damp and wet workpieces. The hermetically sealed drive ensures flawless operation even in dusty or humid environments or when shavings are present. With extensive accessories, the conveyor can be tailored to meet customer needs.
August, 2020
Development FEL-MI-PD
The further development of the FEL-MI-PD enables the transport of even heavier loads. With the modified drive train, we have the flexibility to use additional motor variants, resulting in higher motor power and more speed options—all while maintaining the compact height of approximately 20 mm.
January, 2021
Development of Quick Release Belt
From now on, our conveyors are optionally available with a convenient quick-release belt feature—ideal for applications requiring regular maintenance. This function allows the transport belt to be easily loosened without any special tools or technical knowledge, making cleaning and maintenance quick and straightforward.
Once the work is completed, the transport belt can be re-tensioned with a simple ‘click’—no additional adjustments required. Existing conveyors can also be easily retrofitted with this feature.
January 2023
Company Acquisition and Relocation
As part of the company acquisition, the location was moved to Dörflingen. In January 2023, after many successful years, Eugen Studer entered his well-deserved retirement. His experience and dedication have left a lasting impact on the company, laying a solid foundation for the future.
The management was taken over by Leroy Schramm and Axel Gabriel, who are leading the company into a new era.
December 2024
Further Development FES
Through the continuous development of the FES, the innovative FES-PD will be introduced in December 2024.
The FES-PD impresses with its compact design and an exceptionally powerful motor. Depending on requirements, various motor options are available to optimally meet individual needs.
February 2025
New Partnership with FS Solutions
We are pleased to announce our partnership with FS Solutions GmbH. Through this collaboration, we are expanding our range of plastic chain conveyors, which ideally complement our existing offering.
This strategic partnership opens up exciting opportunities for future large-scale projects in the field of intralogistics.
